Manager Jamie Semmens continues a line of three generations of builder. He left school in 2002 and began an apprenticeship with his father’s business, gaining an NVQ2 in Masonry. Working alongside his father and grandfather for twelve years, he gained expertise in the construction of New Builds, Barn Conversions, extensions and so forth. With such experience he decided to set up his own business in 2014, immediately constructing a New Build: a traditional-style house built with cavity block with a stone face.
Currently J N Semmens Construction are in the processes of building another New Build for St Aubyn’s Estate with a timber frame structure, a traditional stone face, complemented with a natural slate roof.
